The Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. Established in 1964 by the Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal, it has been consistently ranked among the top colleges for commerce and economics education throughout India. The college is home to more than 6000 students for Higher Secondary Certification and Graduation courses. Motto of excellence in education is imbibed by the staff and the top level management.

Since the dawn of the annual inter College cultural festival Umang in the year 2000, the student organised festival of NM college has augmented into a massive success every year and has been striving towards excellence ever since its inception.
