RAINS

The city of dreams, the shelter of many and a place where the rains are most renowned.

Mumbai it is! Well if you have lived here, you know the mood swings Mumbai rains have. It

would be fair enough to say that you may like it or may not, but you cannot ignore it. You will

agree if we say that rains and uncertainty go hand in hand.

There are two types of Mumbaikars: ones who find glee in rains and the others who are

always searching for a way to get rid of them. If you are a hodophile, then trekking in the

Sahyadri mountains is something you would love. A few other activities like long drives to the

south of Bombay, and walks on the beach can surely make you appreciate the rains here.

Although the potholes in Mumbai are the main reason why people hate monsoons but the

cutting chai makes up for it. You can leave the health freak inside you aside and relish some

“bhajiyas”, though an oily snack they will surely make you fall in love with the rains. If you

have a day off, practice yoga, spend time with your family or do what you love the most. 

A piece of advice here, venture out of the house because the rains here are like no other.
